buybuy Baby has just opened its 22,047 square foot store at the Mountain Grove at Citrus Plaza shopping center in Redlands, joining retailers including Nordstrom Rack, 24 Hour Fitness, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, and Hobby Lobby, among others. The new shopping center, which will contain approximately 670,000 square feet when completed, is situated at the northwest quadrant of the 10 and 210 freeways, making the store easily accessible from both of these major interstates. In addition, the center is strategically positioned adjacent to the existing 520,000 square Citrus Plaza, with tenants including Target, Kohl’s and Bed Bath & Beyond, just to name a few, further increasing the draw of consumers to the area. buybuy Baby is a one of a kind retailer, specializing in merchandise for newborns and toddlers, including clothing, furniture and strollers. The chain currently operates 96 stores throughout the country, with this being their 12th location in California. Bob Walsh of Cypress Retail Group represented the tenant in this transaction and will continue to facilitate in their expansion plans throughout Southern California, along with Cypress team members Scott Manclark and Bob Haas.
