Three States Home to 27% of US Shopping Centers

According to data collected by CoStar, California, Texas and Florida are home to 27% of all shopping centers in the US, and account for the top three states paying the most sales tax last year. Although state retail tax rate is set to increase this year, the National Retail Federation has updated its 2021 retail sales forecast, predicating an increase of between 10.5 and 13%, welcome news for the industry.
