Back in 2007, Ralphs opened in the heart of Downtown LA’s residential community. Before opening its doors, area residents had to drive 20 to 30 minutes just to get to a grocery store. Little was it known at the time that this would eventually be credited as playing a pivotal role in shaping both the residents and retail within Downtown Los Angeles.
