Baba’s Hot Chicken Coming to Bakersfield

Baba’s, authentic Nashville hot chicken style concept based out of Riverside, has leased approximately 1,500 SF in the new pad development at Stockdale Plaza in Bakersfield. Regional and national operators California Fish Grill, Urbane Café and Red Wing Shoes are open for business in the project, with Randy’s Donuts and Waba Grill expected to open mid-year alongside Baba’s. Given its prime location in the trade area along with such a strong tenant line up and excellent co-tenancy in the larger center, the remaining 4,200 SF of space in the development is expected to lease up quickly. Bob Haas and Matt Haas of Cypress Retail Group represented the landlord in all the above noted transactions.
