Cypress Retail Group Assists in the Sale of The Village at La Crescenta

Tim Genske of Cypress Retail Group working as a co-broker with Sam Alison of Stan Johnson Company (Los Angeles office) recently represented The Von’s Companies, Inc (as Seller) in the sale of The Village at La Crescenta, an approximately 10,000 square foot shop building anchored by a new BBCN Bank branch (#58) opened October 19th (https://www.bbcnbank.com/ ), along with several other tenants including Coldstone Creamery and Juice It Up. The property is part of a neighborhood shopping center anchored by a 48,000 square foot Vons Food & Drug store located at the northwest corner of Foothill Blvd and Pennsylvania Ave. Escrow closed Friday, November 20th. The Buyer was the Lee Family Living Trust. The property was aggressively marketed and this lead to several purchase offers from qualified buyers. The actual sales price was above the asking price.
