Chipotle Mexican Grill Signs Leases in Buellton & Lompoc
Chipotle Mexican Grill recently executed leases in the cities of Buellton and Lompoc to facilitate their expansion in the Santa Ynez Valley. In Buellton, Chipotle will be joining the Crossroads Village Center, a 52,328 square foot new retail development with proposed tenants including Tractor Supply, McDonald’s and Starbucks. The center will be located at the intersection of Highway 246 and McMurray Road, adjacent to the Village Specific Plan, which includes 240 planned new housing units and a proposed Hilton Hotel.
The Lompoc location will be a new restaurant pad to be built just north of the intersection of Central Avenue and North H Street, across the street from the Albertsons anchored Mission Plaza Shopping Center. Other neighboring co-tenants include several QSR concepts, such as Panda Express and Starbucks. Both of these new locations will lie within the gateway to the Santa Ynez Valley wine country, which welcomes over 2 million estimated visitors on an annual basis. These new sites will also serve to complement the existing Chipotle restaurant locations in Goleta and Santa Maria. Bob Haas of Cypress Retail represented the tenant in both of these transactions and will continue to assist with their expansion plans throughout North Los Angeles, the Central Coast and Central California.
