Buybuy Baby and Cost Plus World Market Open at The Fallbrook Shopping Center
Buybuy Baby and Cost Plus World Market, both wholly owned subsidiaries of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., opened their doors last week at the 1,120,000 square foot Fallbrook Shopping Center in West Hills. The two new stores will be joining various other national and regional box tenants including Target, 24 Hour Fitness, T.J. Maxx, Ralphs, Trader Joe’s and Kohl’s, just to name a few. In this unique two-store layout, Cost Plus World Market occupies approximately 20,500 SF on the ground floor, with buybuy Baby occupying 20,500 SF on the second floor. While this is a relocation for Cost Plus World Market of their nearby Warner Center store, this site is buybuy Baby’s first location in the San Fernando Valley. Both tenants are a welcome addition to the surrounding community, serving a population of over 474,000 just in the immediate trade area. Bob Walsh of Cypress Retail Group represented the tenants in this transaction.
