Two New Tenants to Join The Summit at Calabasas

The Druggist Pharmacy and Fitwall have recently executed leases to join The Summit Shopping Center in Calabasas.

The Druggist, an independent community pharmacy out of Santa Clarita, specializes in compounding practices in addition to dispensing patented medication and offering a wide variety of the most popular over the counter products, including a complete line of vitamins and homeopathic and herbal products. To The Druggist, “compounding is the art of creating a customized product” as they strongly believe that every patient is an individual that has individual needs. The pharmacy will be opening in 2,656 SF adjacent to Calabasas Smiles in the first quarter of 2015.

Fitwall, a studio fitness concept out of San Diego, uses wall-mounted racks to allow for vertical training. With classes only 40 minutes long and the use of technology to monitor and guide each individual and maximize results, Fitwall is focusing on making fitness not only effective, but also creating an overall fun experience. Small class sizes led by two hands on instructors provide clients with more of a personal training feel versus a typical group training environment. The studio will be opening in 2,038 SF adjacent to BCBC Nails in the first quarter of 2015.

Complementary to the existing uses, both concepts will be a welcome addition to the center as well as the surrounding communities. Bob Haas and Ilona Ciezarek of Cypress Retail Group represented the landlord in both of these transactions.
